HJSplit is a free tool to split and recombine files as large as 100+ gigabytes. The Freebyte program comes with four easy to use features: Split, Join, Compare and Checksum. When splitting a file you can specify how small or large the parts should be. The size ranges from kilobytes (kb) to gigabytes (gb) to fit the individual parts on floppy disks, CD/DVDs, USB Drives and other portable storage, or send them via email or upload to an online webspace. HJSplit Join recombines previously split files to re-create a file of the same size as the original. Compare takes two files and checks if they are equal in length and if bits are in the same position. Finally Cecksum generates a MD5 checksum that can for example be shared with the recipient of your split files to confirm that they have not changed. HJSplit runs without installation from a tiny file. Freebyte also offers a Windows 3.x and MS-DOS version. Thus files can be split and recombined with HJSplit across different operating systems, e.g. Windows XP and MS-DOS.

Microsoft team has released the next version of Microsoft Office suite, called Microsoft Office 2013 or so called Office 365 Preview. Before, this office suite was code named as Office 15, and is now released to public for free download as Microsoft Office 2013 beta.

Microsoft Office 2013 customer preview version comes with many new features, new metro UI and built in ability to edit pdf files. The download file available for Microsoft Office 2013 is by default offered as a basic installer and the complete package will be downloaded via network with the basic installer. But now you can get the full installer for Microsoft Office 2013 directly from Microsoft website. Check the office 2013 download files given at the end of post.

The most surprising thing is that this version of MS Office 2013 will not support Windows XP or Windows Vista. You’ll require Windows 7 or Windows 8 to install office 2013.

Laptop ayahku tiba-tiba loading-nya berat. Coba refresh, masih berat. Coba restart, masih juga. Masukin flashdisk, berat juga. Aaarrrggghhh!!! Minta di instal ulang nih laptop. Akhirnya coba masukin driver windows 7, mau nginstal ulang. Eh, DVD-nya nggak kebaca. Mampus!

DVD-room eksternal juga bisa digunakan buat instal ulang, tapi kalau nggak punya, dan nggak dapet minjem ya, wassalam.

Alternatif lain, ya instal pake flashdisk. Pasti pada punya ya. Hare gene gitu. Adapun keuntungan instal pake flashdisk antara lain :

• Lebih simpel dan cepat
• DVD instaler rawan rusak, dan timbul goresan-goresan kalau sudah lama dan sering dipakai, proses instalasi bisa gagal atau berhenti ditengah jalan, seperti yang Aku alamin.

Flashdisk yang digunakan buat instal kapasitasnya minimal 4 Gb. Flashdisknya juga harus di format dulu, jadi selamatkan dulu data yang masih ada di dalam flashdisk itu. Flashdisk akan diubah menjadi bootable installer windows 7 dengan 2 cara :

1. Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool

• Cara ini digunakan kalau punya file ISO Windows 7 
• Download Windows 7 USB / DVD Download Tool  
• Instal file yang sudah di download
• Jalankan program tersebut dari desktop atau dari menu Start 

• Klik 'Browse', lalu cari file ISO, lalu 'Next'
• Pilih media yang akan digunakan, pilih USB Device.
• Pilih drive USB flashdisk-nya. Biasanya otomatis mendeteksi. 
• Klik 'Begin copying'. File akan di-copy. Tunggu sampai selesai. Lalu remove flashdisk secara aman, dan siap digunakan untuk menginstal.

2.  WinTo Flash (Novicorp)

• Cara ini digunakan kalau tidak punya file ISO, tapi hanya DVD driver saja. Perlu diketahui, driver yang ada di DVD tidak bisa langsung di copy ke flashdisk. 
• Download WinTo Flash   
• Ekstrak file yang sudah di download tadi. Kalau bisa masukkan dulu ke dalam folder baru, biar nggak kelihatan berantakan, baru di ekstrak. 
• Klik ganda pada WinTo Flash.exe 

• Klik 'Windows setup transfer wizard' (gambar centang hijau di dalam kotak). 

• Lalu muncul halaman 'Welcome'. Klik 'Next'. Pilih 'Windows file path' yaitu letak drive DVD, dan 'USB drive' yaitu letak drive USB flashdisk. 
• Muncul 'Windows License Agreement', pilih 'I Accept', kemudian klik 'Continue'. 
• Muncul peringatan kalau USB flash disk akan diformat. Klik 'OK'.
• Remove flashdisk secara aman ketika selesai proses meng-copy. Flashdisk siap digunakan.

Flashdisk sekarang bisa digunakan untuk meng-instal windows 7 di komputer atau laptop lain. Jangan lupa mengubah settingan BIOS laptop dengan prioritas boot menjadi USB terlebih dahulu. (Primary Boot / 1st boot device)
